The Accademia di Belle Arti Firenze is an academy of arts and drawing in the Italian city of Florence which is also called as Academy of Fine Arts. It is an operative branch of Accademia delle Arti del Disegno which was the first academy of drawing in Europe.The Accademia di Belle Arti Firenze was founded by Cosimo I de 'Medici in 1563, under the influence of Giorgio Vasari. The company was like a corporation which was supposed to be joined by every artist working in Tuscan.

Palazzo Vecchio
Florence is a city of historical churches and palaces. There are many palaces which display the rich and varied history of Florence. The palace is one of the extraordinary, massive, crenellated and Romanesque palaces of Tuscany.Its construction started in 1299 and completed in 1302, and it is designed by gothic architect of Florence – Arnolfo di Cambio.

There are many paintings and sculptures that add to the beauty of the museum.During the mid-sixteenth century, the Uffizi museum was constructed by Giorgio Vasari, an architect, in 1560 and later on, in 1581, Vasari again continued with the construction as an architect as well as a painter. The administrative offices were brought together under one roof by the Uffizi and hence the name “Uffizi” which means “offices”.
